Below are the steps can be followed to mark a Student Alumni after issuing TC:
- Login to Vawsum Web using your credentials as an Admin.
- Go to Certificates (available on the Left Panel on Dashboard).
- Click on Users from the Dropdown.
- Next, Search for icon “A” available beside each Student. (“A” stands for Alumni)
- Click on icon “A” for the desired student taking a part from the School (after issuing TC).
- Next, Click on the prompt ‘OK’ as a double check to proceed further.
- Fill in the Alumni Mapping Details for the Student. (mandate fields to fill in)
- Fill in the inputs like – Last Date in School, Last Class Attended, Reason for Discontinuation etc.
- After ensuring all inputs are provided, Click on Update.
- Next, Click on the prompt to proceed with mapping completion process.
- Student name would be removed from the last allocated Class, Section and made available under Alumni section (To Check – Click on Alumni option from dropdown, available under Institution).
- Later if Student is allowed for readmission in future, School need not have to re-enter Student Information. (All that is required is to allocate new Class and Section for the Student, rest remains same)
- This way School can also keep record of Alumni’s and need not have to delete any data from system.
- At the same time, Transfer Certificate can also be issued and Printed to Student from the same place, prior marking the Student as Alumni.
Note –
- Student should be marked as Alumni only in a scenario of Student Passout or taken TC from the School.
- Admin can only mark a Student as Alumni.
- From the moment a Student is marked as Alumni, the Student would not be able to see any communication in App from the School, unless communicated in Alumni DIARY if created separately.
