Teacher is unable to Upload Marks

A teacher comes to Admin and complains, “I am unable to upload Marks/Grades”. As an Administrator, what will be your next steps?

Marks

  1. Only Teachers who Teach a particular subject (are mapped to a subject) will be able to upload marks
  2. Go to www.web.vawsum.com > Institution > Teachers > Manage Teachers
  3. Against each Teacher, at the extreme right, you will see 6 buttons under “Actions”.
  4. Click on the 4 Boxes icon to open the “Subjects” mapped to the Teacher
  5. Check if the appropriate Subject is mapped to the Teacher or not
    • Remember, Science is not the same as Physics, Chemistry, Biology
    • Remember, English is not the same as English Literature, English Language, etc.

Grades/ Activity

  1. Teachers mapped to “any subject” of a particular class-section, will be able to upload all “activities/grades” for that class-section.
  2. If a Teacher is unable to upload grades, you will need to map the Teacher to at least one Subject of that Class-Section.

If the above still does not address the situation,

  1. Log in from a different phone and try uploading marks.
  2. If you are successful, ask the Teacher to re-install the app.
  3. If you are still not able to upload marks from the alternate phone, contact wecare@vawsum.com
